The San Francisco Chronicle, Northern California’s daily newspaper is running a series on the history of San Francisco.  The series covered San Francisco’s transportation history recently and the marked progress that has been made in moving people, goods and services around the city by the bay.  See the link below for more information and photos about this fascinating historical review including the early development of the cities famous cable cars.
